 Introduction of GGBS vertical roller mill
GGBS vertical roller mill is the equipment to grind Ground Granulated Blast furnace Slag (GGBS) into small particles.GGBS (fineness:4200-4500cm2/g) produced by vertical roller mills are being used to substitute clinker in conventional cement manufacturing as well as to partially replace OPC for ready-mixed concrete production, for which the percentage of GGBS usage is typically at 10-15% and 20-25% respectively.

The widely use of slag increases the market demand to slag gradually. In recent years, investment in slag production line has been a new favorite in investment market. One production line can recover the cost in 1-3 years.
2. Reducing the power consumption of slag micro powder preparation effectively.
According to the display of slag powder production measured data, traditional ball mill needs power consumption 75~80kWh for per ton slag micro powder. However, it needs power consumption 42~45 kWh for per ton slag micro powder if adopts advanced vertical roller mill technology, and it can be saving electricity 33~35kWh use of vertical roller mill production per ton slag, and power saving effect is very remarkable.
3. Reducing the environment pollution effectively in the process of slag powder preparation.
Slag powder vertical roller mill adopts the internal negative pressure system to reduce the dust spillover effectively. The equipment adopts advanced technology with low revolving speed, stable operation, low noise, and the noise does not exceed 85dB(A) from the mill 1 meter.
4. Removing iron effectively, increasing additional income.
The advanced technology of slag vertical roller mill can be removed the iron effectively from the slag, and no less than 1% iron content can not only protect the machine, but also can increase additional income.

Cement Vertical Roller Mill

working principle
This cement mill is widely used in the grinding of cement raw meal, slag(GGBS plant), cement clinker, raw coal and other raw materials. It gathers grinding, drying and powder selecting as a whole, with high grinding efficiency and high drying capacity ( the maximum handling material moisture is up to 20% ). The vertical mill adopts dynamic powder selecting device, which comes with high powder-selecting efficiency and convenient adjustment of fineness.After crushed by crusher, the large materials become small ones and are sent to storage hopper by elevator, and then evenly sent to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate by vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.The grinding disc is driving by motor through reducer.
The material falls to grinding disc from the feed opening. The materials are driven to the edge of disc by the centrifugal force and crushed into fine powders by rollers. Then, the hot air from the nozzle take the fine powder to high effiency classsifer.
The qualified powder are taken by the air to the powder collector to be collected, while the unqualified powder are sent back for regrinding.

Structure of vertical Roller mill:

1) The combined classifier improves the powder selection efficiency.
2) It is not necessary to distribute material on the grinding plate before start-up. The roller can be lifted up and down automatically and start without load.
3) It is well sealed by welded arc plate and structure is simple and reliable
4) With the help of roller turning device, it is easily to turn the roller out for maintenance.
5) Both sides of roller sleeve can be used so that the service life of refractory material is extended.
6) Grinding roller limit device can ensure a certain space between roller and grinding table, which avoids the direct friction and collision between roller and grinding table and enhances safety
7) The grinding roller is driven by spinning grinding table. Pressure filling and adjustment and roller lifting can be remotely controlled without operator on-site.
8) The roller bearing is circularly lubricated by thin oil to enable it to work under low temperature and clean grease so that the service life is extended

Material through the feed tube fell on the center of grinding plate, centrifugal force generated from the rotation of grinding plate uniformly scatters and flattens the materials outwards the surrounding area of grinding plate, to forms a certain thick layer of materials bed, the material was crushed by number of rollers at the same time. Driven by the continuous centrifugal force to keep the materials moving to the outer edge of the grinding plate, the materials off the grinding plate rising with the hot air which enter from wind ring into the mill, through the mill shell into the middle of the separator, in this course materials and hot gas do a fully heat exchange, and the water quickly evaporates. Separator controls the output size of finished product, greater than the specified size are separated and fall back to the plate, while meet the fineness requirements are brought through the separator into the finished product warehouse.
